MuslimParents.SG’s Signature Child Safety Workshop for Ages 6-9

Madrasah Irsyad students do not need to sign up for this as this is included as part of their Sexuality Education programme covered during White Space.

For parents with children younger than 6 years old, just sign up for yourself and attend it so that you can learn how to explain this topic to your child.

In this workshop, we help your child learn:

✓ Which body zones are NO TOUCH zones

✓ How to stay safe if they encounter a tricky adult

✓ The Islamic concept of MODESTY & GENDER IDENTITY Taught with adab, ilmu, and zero fear.

In 90 minutes, your child will learn:

1. Good Touch, Bad Touch

Learn which parts of the body are NO TOUCH zones.

Understand the difference between safe touch, unsafe touch, and confusing touch using simple, halal language.

2. I Can Keep Myself Safe

What to do and what to say if they encounter a "tricky adult".

Who are the 3 safe adults they can tell. How to shout "NO" and run.

3. Who Am I?

Islamic concept of modesty & gender identity.

Allah created boys and girls differently. What haya looks like for a Muslim child.

All content is delivered in a calm, respectful, age-appropriate way. No graphic details.

Q: Do I need to sit with my child?

A: Yes. This is a parent-accompanied workshop. You’ll learn the language too so you can continue the conversation at home.

Q: Is this appropriate for 6 year olds?

A: Yes. Everything is taught in an age-appropriate, no-shame way.

Q: I’m not based in Singapore. Can I join?

A: Yes! It’s on Zoom and open to international participants.
